In summer 2000 David entered the Parelli program and in the summer 2001 went as a Working Student at the Parelli Centre in Colorado USA.

Having spent one year at the ranch David passed his L3 but before returning home to Switzerland David travelled to Montana in order to work for 6 months with Ronnie Willis (young, difficult and interesting horses). In February 2003 David spent another 6 months at the Parelli Centre in Colorado.

During his time there David spent 10 weeks studying in order the achieve his first instructor star, the remainder of the time David worked on the ranch. During this time he also spent much time with the heavy horse team who pulled a carriage.

After a further stay from January to March 2004 at the Parelli Centre in Florida, David received his second instructor star. In the summer 2006 David earned his 3rd star with further training at the Parelli Centre in Pagosa, Colorado ad becoming a Certified Parelli Instructor.

Today David predominantly teaches in the Galler Rhine Valley, Switzerland but also in Germany and the UK. As well as instructing David is a 3* Parelli Young Horse Specialist and spends 2 months in the UK starting young horses as well as at home.
